The Course
This is a Practice Course for interpreters who want to improve their consecutive skills and for those preparing for a certification exam.
The course consists of 5 audio passages for practice and 5 transcripts to review and analyze prior to a second rendition.

Instructor’s Bio
Victoria Dopazo is a Federal and State Certified Court Interpreter with 23 years of experience in Court Interpreting and over 20 years of experience in teaching languages. Victoria obtained an English as a Foreign Language teaching degree in her native country, Argentina.
In addition to teaching in Argentina, Victoria has taught in Australia, Singapore, and the United States. She also holds certification as a court interpreter from NAJIT, and the Administrative Offices of the Courts of Maryland and New York. Before becoming a court interpreter, she owned and operated language schools in Argentina and the United States. As director of The Language Institute, she has taught and coordinated courses and has managed translation and interpretation projects.
Victoria has worked as a contractor court interpreter for most of the last 23 years, working in Federal and State courts in Maryland, DC, Virginia, Connecticut, and New York.
Currently, Victoria works as a Staff Interpreter in Baltimore County Circuit Court. She also manages CITO Institute / Court Interpreter Training Online where she teaches online courses on court interpretation to aspiring court interpreters as well as continuing education workshops for court certified interpreters.
